Operational bases

EAAA has two operational bases. One at Norwich Airport with our Headquarters, Helimed House, and the other at Cambridge City Airport (Marshall's). We also have an additional fundraising office in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire where EAAA fundraisers in the west of the region are based.

Norwich: The home of Anglia One

Helimed House in Norwich, the home of Anglia One, was officially opened in September 2021. Funded through generous gifts in Wills, the base enables EAAA crews to have the training, rest and welfare facilities required for a fully 24/7 helicopter operation. Helimed House was recognised in the Norwich and Norfolk Design and Craftmanship (DCA) Awards in November 2023.

Cambridge: The home of Anglia Two

Located at Marshalls Airport, EAAA’s Cambridge operating base was officially opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2017. It is home to the Anglia Two helicopter and critical care car to provide urgent out-of-hospital treatment and care to people in the west of the region and beyond. The Anglia Two aircraft (G-HEMC) currently flies between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00, with a critical care car providing 24/7 cover.
