Operational bases

We operate from two bases. Our Norwich headquarters, Helimed House, sits at Norwich Airport, while our second base is at Cambridge City Airport (Marshall’s). We also run a fundraising office in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, where our team works with communities and supporters across the western part of our region.

Norwich: The home of Anglia One

Helimed House in Norwich, home to Anglia One, opened its doors in September 2021. Thanks to the generous gifts left in Wills, this base gives our crews the space they need to train, rest, and look after their wellbeing so they can deliver a 24/7 service by air and road. In November 2023, we were humbled that Helimed House was recognised at the Norwich and Norfolk Design and Craftsmanship Awards.

Cambridge: The home of Anglia Two

Our Cambridge base, at Marshall’s Airport, has a special place in our history as it was officially opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 2017. From here, our Anglia Two helicopter and critical care car respond to emergencies, delivering urgent treatment and care to people across the west of the region – and sometimes even further. The Anglia Two aircraft takes to the skies between 07:00 and 19:00, while our critical care car ensures round‑the‑clock cover, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
