*Due to our workforce model, we are ideally seeking for one appointment to be made via a secondment arrangement with an acute NHS Trust as a minimum.

At East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) we place our patients at the centre of our operation and are in touch with many more people whose lives may have been affected by the service we provide. To help support our work in this area we have an exciting opportunity for Clinical Liaison Officers to join our dedicated Aftercare Team on a 2-year NHS secondment or on a 2-year fixed-term contract directly with EAAA.

You will have experience of supporting patients and families in difficult and often tragic circumstances, to enable you to support EAAA patients and their families post trauma/incident, during their recovery and following bereavement. The role involves facilitating a debrief of their treatment, explaining interventions that took place, providing ongoing support and providing feedback and outcome information to the crew, to improve clinical care.

The role will cover Norfolk and surrounding areas and will involve travel to a variety of sites across the region.

You will be joining a truly inspirational organisation. EAAA not only operates with total patient focus but provides a supportive working environment where everyone can develop and make a difference – Together We Save Lives.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Amy Buxton, Head of Aftercare for an informal chat on 03450 669 999. If you are interested in a secondment opportunity, please also discuss this with your line manager.

Closing date:  Tuesday 21 January (9am)

Interview date: Monday 27 January (Helimed House, Norwich)
