EAAA is tasked by air and road to some of the most seriously injured and critically unwell people in the region. We now treat, on average, five people across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk every single day.
Cardiac arrests
Every year in the East of England, approximately 12,000 people suffer a cardiac arrest. That’s over 30 people every single day.
The crew will support the ambulance service with a variety of life-threatening illnesses and injuries where the advanced skills, medication and interventions of EAAA could make a significant difference to a patient.
