When someone suffers a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) outside of hospital, there’s a chain of events which can increase their chance of survival. This includes;

To mark Restart a Heart Day on 16 October, East Anglian Air Ambulance will also be delivering the extra following events across the region:
Monday – CPR training is being delivered at an Ipswich school with an ITFC player, followed by delivery of CPR training for Chatsworth ladies in the evening
Tuesday – Training will be delivered to the A14 construction group, followed by Yelling Village hall and then Yelling WI.
Wednesday – World Restart a Heart Day! In conjunction with the East of England Ambulance Service, we will be at Hellesdon High School teaching CPR to 300 students (https://www.resus.org.uk/events/rsah/)
Thursday – We will be delivering CPR at Ely School for former patient Charlotte Salmons, who suffered a cardiac arrest
Friday – Finally, we will be delivering CPR/AED training at Fakenham Racecourse between races
